Since Lord Capulet didn't approve of Juliet marrying Paris unless he wins her love, why do you think he all of a sudden wants Juliet to marry Paris?

There is irony in this scene when Capule says "Wednesday is too soon, O' Thursday let it be...tell her, she shall be married to this nobel earl." Earlier in the story he said that Juliet needs to wait a couple of years before she gets married and now he is saying that she will be getting married in a couple of days.
